The Hope Experiment, supports the idea that theists are stronger minded and better equipped, to persevere through difficult times. Instead of giving up, due to feeling alone and hopeless...

The benefits of having an external target, can be seen in Ballet dancing. To achieve a Pirouette, it is required to focus on an external point, for as long as remotely possible and then whip your head around to focus on it once more, to not lose balance and orientation.

Theism may mean different things to different people but the general idea is to believe that there is Intelligent Design and a purpose for each of our lives. So most people pray, or have some kind of internal dialogue when wanting guidance, help or to give thanks etc. Having a perfect external point to focus on is a way to do better, as the destination cannot be reached but it gives us a direction. People without this relationship will naturally feel more lonely and not be aided to achieve as much as they would with that communication.

The Fleas in a Jar Experiment, supports the idea that humanity wont be able to reach our full potential, if we allow ourselves to be misled to believe that there are no higher dimensions and there is no Creator outside of our space & time...
